The Infinix GT 20 Pro was spotted in the SIRIM database last month, hinting that the successor to last year’s GT 10 would be launching soon. More recently, the company has confirmed that the phone will be launching very early next month.
Not much about the Infinix GT 20 Pro has been revealed for now, but a phone bearing the same model number has been spotted in the Geekbench online database. From it, the device is believed to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space. The benchmarking database also lists it as having a 4,900mAh battery, which may be marketed as 5,000mAh.
On a related note, GSMArena has posted what is claimed to be design sketches of the Infinis GT 20 Pro, as well as a few additional spec sheet details. Starting with the sketch, it looks to be a lot like its predecessor model. with very minor adjustments. In fact, it would be equally believable if the claim was that these were the design sketches of the GT 10 Pro instead. As for the additional specs details, these come in the form of 45W charging, and a 120Hz refresh rate for the display.
The report also notes that the Infinix GT 20 Pro will be launching in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on 28 April. Locally though, the brand has said that the phone will be launching on 2 May instead.
