HONOR has officially brought over the Band 9, its latest smart band. The wearable was unveiled last month, succeeding the Band 7 and skipping over the Band 8. It comes with a slightly revised design but otherwise, its specs are nearly identical to its predecessor.
The Band 9 sports a 1.57-inch 406×256 AMOLED touch display with a 60Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 500 nits. Notably, the screen is bigger than the previous model and the sides are also more curved, akin to a smartphone. You can swim while wearing the smart band as it has 5 ATM water resistance and for connectivity, it comes with Bluetooth 5.3 which gives it Find Your Phone and Remote Shutter features.
While it still lacks built-in GPS, the Band 9 has over 96 sports modes to accurately track your workouts. There are also health features that allow you to monitor your heart rate, blood oxygen levels, sleep, stress, and menstruation cycle. As for the battery life, it seems to be unchanged as the brand claims it can last up to 14 days.
The Band 9 comes in purple, blue and black colour options with removable straps. It retails for only RM199 and can be purchased through its Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, and online stores, as well as authorised retailers, starting from 25 April.
