Shopee has announced that it will introduce yet another program that will make shopping online more seamless, tackling anxiety about delivery. On 6 May, the e-commerce giant will commence its On-Time Guarantee program, which will guarantee that you will get your order within a certain window.
With the new program, buyers will have the peace of mind of knowing that they can trust the estimated delivery date displayed on the order details page. It is applicable for all shipping channels including doorstep delivery, sea shipping, self-collection, economy delivery, Instant Delivery, and 5-Day Delivery.
If the order is delivered later than the estimated delivery date, then the user will be eligible for a compensation voucher. Unfortunately, Shopee’s FAQ page does not specify what voucher you will get, but based on the screenshots shown, the company will provide a RM5 voucher for late deliveries. A button to claim the voucher will appear on the order details page when the order has exceeded the estimated delivery date, but you will only have three days to claim it.
This is just one of the latest programs that the company has implemented to make customers less hesitant to shop online. Last month, Shopee introduced a new Change of Mind policy that allows users to return their orders within 15 days with no questions asked.
