Just a day after the leaked renders of the Lenovo Yoga Slim 14 Snapdragon Edition made their way online, Qualcomm has now released a teaser on X, formerly Twitter, along with a date: 24 April.
The teaser clip is 16 seconds long and to be fair, it doesn’t explicitly mention anything about the Snapdragon X Elite series, leading some to speculate that it is the X Plus that Qualcomm intends to launch instead. You can also see the “X” branding near the end of the video, which provides further confirmation as to what the chipmaker intends to announce on the day.

The Snapdragon X Plus Series is considered to be a tier below the X Elite Series, with the top-tier model of the lineup offering up to the 10-cores, along with a powerful AI chip offering up to 45 TOPs of performance, making it one of the fastest AI processors on the current market. Of course, it’s also an ARM-based processor, versus the x86 architecture that has been at the core of every modern processor, used by the likes of AMD and Intel.
Speculations notwithstanding, we’re just going to have to wait until 24 April to hear more about the elusive Snapdragon X processor.
