Acer Malaysia officially announced the availability of its refreshed Swift Go 14 laptop. Compared to last year’s model, the refreshed model now boasts Intel’s latest Meteor Lake Core Ultra (CU) Series CPUs and ARC graphics.
Specifically, consumers will have a choice between a CU 5, CU 7, or CU 9 CPU, up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. For its display the Swift Go 14 is installed with a 14-inch WQXGA+ OLED panel that has a 500-nit peak brightness and a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Do note that there are two resolutions, WUXGA (1920 x 1200) and WQXGA+ (2880 x 1800), the latter being the premium panel with a 90Hz refresh rate but is not touch capacitive, while the former supports 10-point multi-touch.
For connectivity, the Swift Go 14 comes with dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB-A port, one HDMI 2.1 port, and a microSD card reader. For wireless connectivity, the laptop supports Wi-Fi 7. All this, in a package and 14-inch form factor that weighs in at 1.32kg.
The new Acer Swift Go 14 is already available at all authorised resellers and retails from a starting SRP of RM3,899. It will be available in two colours: Frost Blue and Pure Silver. On that note, Acer is holding a launch promotion for the laptop, providing discounts of up to RM200 for all available SKUs, from now until 28 April. In addition, consumers who purchase the laptop within this period will be given a Porsche Design wireless mouse worth RM399 for free, while stocks last.
