ZTE has listed a brand new smartphone called the V60 for the Malaysian market under its nubia sub-brand. While the phone has already received SIRIM certification, nothing about the phone has been uncovered. However, judging from the name, it could possibly be an entry-level or mid-range offering that complements the brand’s flagship Z60 Ultra.
The V60 was listed on SIRIM on 4 April 2024 with the model number Z2356. Interestingly, the sub-brand has not released a new phone under the “V” moniker since the V18 in 2018, so we could see a revival of the series.
Of course, there is also the possibility that the upcoming device will be related to ZTE’s Blade V50 Design, although that would mean that the Blade V series will be moving to the company’s sub-brand with a new name. For reference, the Blade V50 Design sports a 6.6-inch 1080p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, runs on a Unisoc T760 chipset, and features a 50MP main camera alongside a 2MP macro lens and a depth sensor.
For now, we can only speculate on what the phone will be equipped with until the brand reveals more information. But with the listing, we can expect the new offering to be available in Malaysia eventually.
