ZTE has announced a relaunch of its newest nubia flagship phone, the Z60 Ultra. The phone was made available in Malaysia back in December, but it was only an imported global variant that did not come with an official warranty from the brand, unlike the latest release.
To jog your memory, the Z60 Ultra sports a 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,500 nits. Internally, the high-end phone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage — it seems that the official Malaysian version won’t have the 12GB+256GB configuration.
On the imaging side, it features three sensors equipped with OIS including a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.3x optical zoom. Up front, the phone houses a 12MP under-display camera. Powering the phone is a large 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging. Additionally, the phone has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and it even has a customisable slider on the side.
The Z60 Ultra now retails for RM3,799, down from RM4,299 for the global version with the same configuration. It will be available for pre-order on its Shopee store from 4 to 11 April 2024, which comes with a free pair of wireless earbuds and an 18-month screen protection. Moreover, the company recently announced a special Photographer Edition of the Z60 Ultra, which will go on sale for RM3,699.
