realme has introduced a new device into its budget C-series called the C65. The new entry-level smartphone was announced in Vietnam with a price tag that is slightly lower than the C67. While its specs are nothing to boast about, it does get the Mini Capsule feature, which is the brand’s iteration of Apple’s Dynamic Island.
The C65 sports a 6.67-inch 720p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 625 nits. It also features air gestures support as seen in the Narzo 70 Pro and the customisable Dynamic Button from the realme 12. Under the chassis, you will find a Mediatek Helio G85 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for expansion.
For imaging, the budget phone is equipped with a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro lens, and an 8MP selfie shooter. Powering everything is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging.
The C65 starts from VND3,690,000 (~RM706) for the base trim with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and comes in two colour options. As of now, it is unknown if the new phone will be made available in Malaysia.
