TIME, via a newly issued press release today, has confirmed that it is indeed conducting a Speed Boost upgrade for existing subscribers to its 100Mbps, 300Mbps and 500Mbps Fibre Home plans. As reported previously, those currently on the aforementioned subscriptions will see speed upgrades to 200Mbps, 500Mbps and 600Mbps respectively, though the rollout will be done in batches.
The ISP also revealed that it is offering the same permanent speed upgrades to all new sign-ups to its Home Fibre 100Mbps and 500Mbps plans as well. However, it noted this particular promotion is only applicable to registrations done before the end of the month.
In regards to the upgrade process, TIME clarified that the rollout is expected to be completed by the end of this month, so it may take a while for some users to notice any difference in their internet speed. On that note, it is urging customers to utilise its mobile app or Self Care portal to check whether the upgrade has been applied.
TIME reiterated that the Speed Boost upgrade is offered to customers at no additional cost. It added that customers will continue to pay the same monthly subscription fee which they’ve initially signed up for, while no changes will be made to their contracts.
