Nothing today has announced that the latest products from its CMF sub-brand that were unveiled last month will be available in Malaysia starting 4 April 2024. These consist of the CMF Buds and the CMF Neckband Pro, which are offered at affordable prices.
To recap our previous report, the new CMF Buds feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) at 42dB and transparency mode, followed by 12.4mm drivers with a bio-fibre and custom TPU diaphragm tuned by Dirac, as well as four built-in microphones. It also comes with Bluetooth 5.3 with Fast Pair, multi-point connectivity, and a Low Lag gaming mode.
The device is touted to offer a combined usage time of 35.5 hours when used together with its charging case. It also supports fast charging, granting around 6.5 hours of listening time after 10 minutes of top-up. With the exception of its case, the buds are rated IP54 in dust and water resistance.
Next up is the CMF Neckband Pro, which features 13.6mm audio dynamic drivers with Ultra Bass technology 2.0, spatial audio support, ANC at 50dB, Bluetooth 5.3 with Fast Pair, five built-in microphones, and IP55 water/dust resistance. It also has a customisable Smart Dial that can control the volume, playback, and ANC.
According to Nothing, this model offers up to 37 hours of listening time with ANC off, or up to 23 hours with the feature deactivated. It is claimed that a 10-minute charge is enough to provide around 18 hours of playback.
Both devices are offered in Orange, Dark Grey and Light Grey colourways, and will be sold via the sub-brand’s official online stores on Shopee and Lazada this Thursday. The CMF Buds are set to retail at RM199, while the CMF Neckband Pro is at RM189. However, Nothing notes that both aforementioned prices are introductory, but did not specify how much the two will cost once the launch promotion ends.
