[UPDATE: 10:50am, 1 April 2024] Upon clarification, TIME Internet’s “Speed Boost” actually applies to all customers under its 100Mbps, 300Mbps, and 500Mbps Fibre Home plans. In other words, you don’t need to fulfill a minimum 20-month subscription period in order to enjoy this benefit.
However, as mentioned below, keep in mind that the upgrade process for each customer is done between 27 March to 7 April 2024, so there’s a chance that you might not experience the change immediately. Additionally, the ISP notes that those who’ve not received the complimentary upgrade between the aforementioned date should consult its archived loyalty programme terms and conditions via this link.
[Original Article: 10:30am, 1 April 2024] TIME Internet has quietly implemented a complimentary “Speed Boost” upgrade to applicable customers during the weekend. Offered as part of the internet service provider‘s (ISP) latest Loyalty Programme, the drive is intended to reward existing Fibre Home users customers who have completed a minimum 20 months subscription period under their current plan.
According to the terms and conditions page on its official website, those eligible will see a significant internet speed increase for the plans which they’ve subscribed to. TIME adds that the Speed Boost upgrade will be done between 27 March to 7 April 2024, meaning that not everyone will see an immediate effect.
Customers subscribed to the ISP’s Fibre Home 100Mbps plan will be boosted to 200Mbps, whereas the 300Mbps and 500Mbps options are upgraded to 500Mbps and 600Mbps respectively. TIME assured that there will be no change to the subscriber’s broadband fee, contracts, or discounts (if any).
