The Nothing Ear (2) was launched in March last year, so it’s about time that the company announces a sequel. That may be happening soon, as the brand has posted a teaser video via its official account on X, previously Twitter.
Said video features a frog and a beetle, ending with the former jumping over the latter. It’s notable that while the Nothing Ear (2) was marketed with what looks like an Atlas beetle, this teaser features something that looks like a Japanese horned beetle instead. Granted, both belong under the rhinoceros beetle family, which may be representing the wireless buds in question.

With that in mind, the video showing the frog jumping over the beetle suggests that the amphibian may be the mascot for the Nothing Ear (3) instead. One comment by the brand’s official account notes that whatever is being teased is “a big leap”.
Of course, the company could always throw a curveball and announce a second-generation Nothing Ear (Stick). Though that seems unlikely as that was represented by a glasswing butterfly. Beyond the animal kingdom imagery though, nothing else is known about what the next product by the brand is. We’ll probably have to wait for more teasers before an official announcement shows up.
