realme has officially announced the local launch date for the Note 50. The budget smartphone will be arriving in the Malaysian market on 4 April 2024 and it will likely be given an extremely affordable price tag, if its retail price in the Philippines is anything to go by.
The phone was introduced back in January with a 6.74-inch 720p LCD display that comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 650 nits. Under the hood, the entry-level device runs ona Unisoc T612 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage along with a microSD card for expansion, although it is still unknown what kind of configuration will be offered here.
For imaging, the Note 50 sports a 50MP main camera as well as a depth sensor and a 5MP selfie shooter up front. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. Additionally, it ships with realme UI T Edition based on Android 13 Go, has an IP54 dust and water resistance rating, and is fitted with a 3.5mm audio jack.
The brand is giving the Note 50 a 48-month fluency protection guarantee, meaning that the phone will be able to run the software fluently with no issues for at least four years. While we do not know the local price tag yet, it retails for PHP3,599 (~RM302) in the Philippines, so we can assume that it will cost something within that price range.
