Back in March of 2022, AirAsia announced its Super Plus annual subscription plan, which promised free flights to specific destination – minus taxes and fees. It looks like the low-cost airline is giving the service a makeover, as it has put up a teaser for what it calls “our upcoming travel subscription plan.
AirAsia calls it the Unlimited – Asean International Pass, and is promising “even more deals and even more rewards at RM1,188 per subscription”. The airline also says that, using the feedback towards the Super Plus subscription last year, it will also be offering an alternative RM99/month subscription price as well. This alternative is described as offering “even greater flexibility”, which is accurate, as it’s simply splitting the RM1,188 into 12 chunks.
In terms of details on what the AirAsia Unlimited – Asean International Pass, that’s all that the airline has offered for now. That being said, it is offering previous passholders an early bird discount, via the EARLYBIRD5 promo code. An additional RM50 discount is also on offer if you pay with a BigPay card. It’s a tad strange that there’s a pre-order window without a launch date, though.
A separate FAQ page mentions a travel period of between 1 May 2024 and 30 April 2025. Also mentioned in said FAQ page is that the Unlimited – Asean International Pass “unlocks an array of travel perks and discounts on the AirAsia MOVE App”. Naturally, this means that you’ll need to sign up for a member ID, either via the app or the airline’s official website.
