Huawei has finally announced the launch date of the nova 12 series. The lineup will be arriving in Malaysia on 25 March 2024, with three phones being introduced to the local market. However, of the three, only one of which is a brand new phone, while the other two are rebranded versions of existing models.
The nova 12i is the latest entry-level smartphone from the brand, sporting a 6.7-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. For imaging, the device features a 108MP main camera alongside a depth sensor while the front houses an 8MP selfie shooter.
Meanwhile, the nova 12s is a rebranded nova 11 and the nova 12SE is a renamed nova 11 SE, each carrying the exact same specs as their respective older counterpart. The 12s gets a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED display with a Snapdragon 778G processor, a 50MP main camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the other hand, the 12 SE is fitted with a 6.67-inch 90Hz OLED screen with a Snapdragon 680, a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens.
All three phones will be launching next week and those interested can go to the brand’s website to claim a RM50 early bird voucher.
