HONOR has officially launched the Magic6 Pro in Malaysia and with it, the company announced the availability of the Magic6 RSR and Magic V2 RSR. The two phones are special editions that get a unique design inspired by Porsche cars and are only available for purchase by invitation.
The Magic6 RSR is essentially just the Magic6 Ultimate with a different design on the back as well as more RAM and storage. The phone gets a 6.8-inch dual-layer LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, NanoCrystal Shield for protection, a global peak brightness of 1,800 nits, and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits for HDR content. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with a whopping 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
On the back, the camera setup consists of a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 180MP periscope lens with OIS and 2.5x optical zoom, and a LiDAR sensor for faster autofocus. Powering it is the same 5,600mAh battery as the Pro with support for 80W wired and 66W wireless charging.
As for the Magic V2 RSR, it is exactly the same phone as the regular version but with twice as much storage as well as the Porsche-inspired rear panel. It sports a 6.43-inch OLED outer display and a 7.92-inch OLED inner display with 120Hz refresh rates.
The foldable runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Camera-wise, it features a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 20MP telephoto lens with OIS and 2.5x optical zoom.
For pricing, the Magic6 RSR gets a price tag of RM7,499 while the Magic V2 RSR retails for RM10,999. You can only purchase them by invitation, but you can now register your interest for the Magic6 RSR on the company’s website.
