HONOR has officially launched the Magic6 Pro, its latest and greatest flagship smartphone. The brand is only bringing over the Pro version from the series, it seems, with the vanilla model not making its way here.
The Magic6 Pro is fitted with a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a global peak brightness of 1,600 nits, and a peak of 5,000 nits for HDR content. Inside a chassis, the phone contains a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. For protection, it has a scratch-resistant NanoCrystal Shield as well as an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
On the back, the camera setup consists of a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 180MP telephoto lens with OIS, 2.5x optical zoom, and 100x digital zoom, along with a 50MP ultra-wide lens with autofocus. The display contains a pill-shaped notch that contains a 50MP selfie shooter next to a 3D depth sensor for face unlocking. Powering everything is a large 5,600mAh battery with support for 80W wired and 66W wireless charging, alongside support reverse wired and wireless charging.
For the software, the Magic6 Pro ships with MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14. It contains an arsenal of AI-powered features including Magic Portal, Magic Text, and Magic Capsule — the latter is the brand’s version of Apple’s Dynamic Island feature.
The Magic6 Pro is available in black (glass) and green (PU) colour options, retailing at RM4,499. Just like with the early bird deal, you can pre-order the phone with a RM66 deposit from 20 to 27 March 2024. Those who pre-order will get a RM330 rebate on the phone as well as the Watch 4, Earbuds X6, a one-year front and back crack guarantee, and an extended warranty.
