Alongside the Magic6 Ultimate and Band 9 that were unveiled recently, HONOR also launched its latest flagship smartwatch in China. Known as the Watch GS 4, it is the successor to the brand’s premium wearable line which last saw a release back in 2022.
The HONOR Watch GS 4 packs a 1.43″ circular AMOLED screen of 466×466-pixel resolution and 326 ppi pixel density, with over 8,000 watchfaces to choose from. Two of its colourways feature a 316L stainless steel case, while the “Jasper Astrolabe” version has a gold-plated one instead. All models are 10.5mm thin and feature two physical buttons on the right side.
The Watch GS 4 comes with the usual slew of health and fitness features, including heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and stress and blood oxygen level measuring. It can also measure your blood pressure levels and detect atrial fibrillation. Additionally, the Watch GS 4 supports 100+ indoor and outdoor sports modes, including 85 custom sports modes and 10+ professional sports modes.
Other than that, the new HONOR smartwatch comes with 32MB RAM, 4GB storage, and is rated 5ATM in terms of water resistance. There’s also a built-in speaker and microphone for Bluetooth calls, NFC functionalities, and a dual-band antenna with Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO and QZSS support.
The brand advertises that the Watch GS 4 is capable of lasting up to 14 days of usage when used typically. It also has fast-charging support, where a 5-minute top-up offers a whole day’s worth of battery life.
The HONOR Watch GS 4 is available in three color options: Starry Sky Exploration (Black), Galaxy Shuttle (Silver), and Jasper Astrolabe (Gold). The first of which is priced at CNY999 (~RM657), whereas the latter two is retailing for CNY1,199 (~RM788). There’s no word on the new smartwatch’s availability in other regions just yet.
