ASUS is officially launching two new ROG Strix gaming monitors, the XG27UCS and XG27ACS. As per their designations, both desktop monitors sport 27-inch panels but what sets them apart are their respective maximum resolutions.
Specifically, the XG27UCS features a 4K 160Hz panel, while the XG27ACS is a 1440p 180Hz panel. Regardless, both gaming monitors can boasta 1ms GTG response time and heck, there’s even a compact grove in the base that you can use to stand your mobile phone, if you must.
Additionally, both the XG27USC and XG27ACS are Adaptive Sync monitors, meaning that they’ll support both NVIDIA’s G-Sync and AMD’s FreeSync, depending on the GPU you’ve connected it to. For that matter, they are also ELMB Sync monitors. Ports-wise, both monitors come with one HDMI 2.0 port, a single DisplayPort 1.4 port, one USB-C that also doubles as an alternative DisplayPort, and a built-in 3.5mm headphone jack.
The ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACS is already available and can be purchase via the brand’s official store page on Lazada and Shopee. The monitor retails at RM1,699. Oddly enough, there isn’t local pricing for the XG27UCS but its global pricing is set at US$449 (~RM2,125).
