Acer recently added two new RDNA3-powered Radeon GPUs to its portfolio. Specifically, it now counts the Radeon RX 7900 GRE for both its Predator and Nitro lineup.
On paper, both variants of the 7900 GRE are essentially identical in terms of specifications; both cards boast a game clock of 2050MHz and boost clock of 2395MHz, feature 16GB GDDR6 graphics memory, running at a frequency 18Gbps. Further specifications include 80 Compute units of AMD’s RDNA3 architecture.
What does set the two 7900 GRE Predator and Nitro cards apart are their design, as well as the number of fans each card are equipped with. The Predator model features a triple-fan cooling system, while the Nitro variant sports a dual-fan cooling solution. Regardless of the quantity, all the fans are based on Acer’s FrostBlade design. For I/Os, the cards have the same three DisplayPort 2.1 ports, and a single HDMI 2.1 port.
