Local custom gaming PC and laptop company Illegear has introduced its new Vulcan gaming laptop series, which consists of the 15.3-inch NX and the 16-inch GX model. Both variants boast the latest Intel processors, flagship graphic cards, and high-end displays.
The Illegear Vulcan laptops are equipped with up to Intel i9-14900HX processors, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 for graphics acceleration, up to 64GB DDR5 RAM support, and storage of up to 4TB via two M.2 NVMe SSD slots. Along with the powerful hardware is a silent membrane keyboard with customisable per-key RGB lightning and an XL glass touchpad for precise control, while N-key rollover features are available exclusively for models equipped with Intel processors.
Even though the NX and GX variants sport different display sizes, 15.3-inch and 16-inch respectively, both offer ultra-thin bezel INFINIIVISION panels with an aspect ratio of 16:10, 2K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and sRGB 100% colour accuracy. Apart from that, the two Vulcan laptops also come with Windows 11 Home, a FHD Windows Hello camera, up to 99Wh battery, customisable thermal cooling, Thunderbolt 4 with 100W USB-C Power Delivery, an SD card slot, a 3.5mm audio jack, WLAN port, Intel or Killer Wi-Fi 6E AX, HDMI 2.1, and multiple USB 3.2 ports.
The new Illegear VULCAN NX and GX gaming laptops are now available for pre-order via the brand’s official website. The former starts from RM5,699 and is expected to ship out by April 2024, while the latter starts from RM11,999 and is estimated to be released by May 2024. As with Illegear’s other products, both models are applicable for 5% cash discounts and 24-month 0% instalment plans.
The local outfit adds that those who pre-order either model are also entitled to receive free gifts while stocks last. These include Gen4 SSD upgrades, a Hive backpack, a Tusk gaming mouse, and more.
