There are quite a few rumours of upcoming Apple devices that are projected to show up in the next few years. These range from an upcoming foldable device to AR glasses that was first mentioned way before the Vision Pro was launched. Recently, it looks like something that is claimed to be the product roadmap from the bitten fruit has appeared online, corroborating as well as disputing a few existing rumours and leaks.
Said roadmap comes courtesy of frequent leakster @Tech_Reve on X, previously Twitter, who also claims that the roadmap itself comes from Samsung Securities. Said roadmap shows what Apple is working on, up to the year 2027, which is probably where the most interesting item is.
But going in order, the roadmap claims that Apple will have an OLED iPad coming out this year, which lines up with rumours of this year’s Pro model tablets. The iPhone launch later in the year will also see the periscope camera being present in both the Pro and Pro Max models.
Next year will also be quite interesting as it will see iPhones sporting 48MP cameras not only for all three cameras at the back. but also in front. Also mentioned as part of 2025 is an iPhone SE 4, with an OLED screen and 48MP camera.
2026, according to the Apple roadmap, will see the release of the first foldable iPhone, with the device having between a six- and eight-inch form factor. This will also reportedly be the year that the iPad Air and mini get their own OLED screens. Here’s where we find the first contradiction, as there are prior claims of an eight-inch foldable releasing in 2026 which may replace the iPad mini. At the same time, another claim is that the first Apple foldable would be a larger device, possibly even a laptop.
Instead, the alleged roadmap notes that a “20-inch iPad” would be appearing in 2027 instead. This is alongside what is labeled as Apple’s AR glasses, which sees its supposed release date get pushed back with every passing year. So to see it under 2027 feels a tad optimistic.

At any rate, as is the usual, these should be taken with a pinch of salt. Doubly so for roadmaps as even if they are accurate at the time of writing, there’s enough time between now and the year in question for things to be moved around.
