Infinix is preparing to launch a new entry-level smartphone soon, this time dubbed the GT 20 Pro. The successor to last year’s GT 10 Pro, the phone has yet to be announced by the company but has already made its way to several certification databases, including SIRIM.
The GT 20 Pro was recently listed with the model number X6871 on 13 March 2024, signalling that the brand is planning on making it available here soon after it launches. Despite its details still being kept under wraps, certain key specs of the phone have already emerged through benchmarking databases.
Firstly, the GT 20 Pro has been spotted with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone is powered by a 4,900mAh battery that is expected to be marketed at 5,000mAh, but the charging speed is still unknown.
For reference, the GT 10 Pro retails at an affordable price of RM999 with a unique rear panel design and a MediaTek 8050 processor. It runs on a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging and bypass charging to prevent overheating while gaming. For the cameras, it features a 108MP main shooter, a 2MP macro lens, a depth sensor, and a 32MP front snapper.
