Microsoft, via its official blog, has announced that the Pro subscription for its Copilot AI assistant is now available in 222 countries. The list includes Malaysia, where users can sign-up for RM98 per month and enjoy the various benefits provided by the premium edition of its AI-powered service across devices, web, or the mobile app version on both iOS and Android.
A one-month free trial is also available if you’re not entirely convinced of signing up for the Pro subscription just yet. In order to claim it, Microsoft explains that users are required to install the Copilot app on your mobile device, which is available for free via the Apple App Store or Google Play digital storefronts.
With a Copilot Pro subscription, users are granted advanced features and capabilities of Microsoft’s AI assistant. These include priority access to top-of-the-line GPT models, better image generation and editing capabilities, access to Microsoft Copilot GPT Builder, as well as AI capabilities in Microsoft 365 apps if you’re already a Microsoft 365 Personal or Home subscriber.
The company adds that Copilot Pro is also directly available via the Office web apps, so you don’t need a separate Microsoft 365 subscription to use the chatbot in Word, Outlook, and so on. For the desktop apps, however, you’ll still need a Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription to unlock the AI assistant’s features.
Additionally, Microsoft revealed that Copilot Pro integration will soon be available on mobile apps as well. As explained by Microsoft general manager of search and AI marketing Divya Kumar, it will be included in the company’s free mobile apps such as the Microsoft 365 app and Outlook for iOS and Android in the coming months.
