Apple may be gearing up to release its Vision Pro headset to regions outside of the US soon. According to MacRumors, code for the device’s visionOS platform indicates that 12 new languages will be added to its virtual keyboard feature soon, each denoting the different countries which they are intended for.
For context, Vision Pro only currently supports English (US) only, as it is still exclusive to the region. The upcoming update will add Cantonese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified), French (France and Canada), German, Japanese, Korean, as well as five different iterations of English including for Australia, Canada, Japan, UK, and Singapore.
Should MacRumors’ speculation be accurate, we could potentially see Apple releasing the Vision Pro in China and/or Taiwan, France, Germany, the UK, Australia, Canada, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore. The latter is more interesting as it suggests that the headset may also see a debut in Southeast Asia, though don’t hold your breath for a Malaysian release just yet.

During its launch earlier in January, it is reported that Apple is planning to bring the Vision to additional countries later this year, but did not provide timing or potential locations. Meanwhile, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that the company may push out the headset to additional markets prior to its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June. Like MacRumors’ report, we shall see whether either speculations are accurate only when an official announcement from Apple is made.
