CelcomDigi has announced a pair of weekly data passes exclusively for the Ramadan season. The yellow and blue telco is bringing back the Sahur Pass from last year as well as a new Moreh Pass that is, oddly, limited to only Celcom customers and not those on the Digi side of the carrier.
Some users of the telco might already be familiar with the Sahur Pass, which costs RM7 for seven days of validity and is available to both postpaid and prepaid customers. This pass gives users an extra 444GB of 4G and 5G data, which is a hefty amount, but is limited to the wee hours of between 3 AM to 9 AM daily, hence the name.
Next up is the Moreh Pass for night-time heavy users, which can only be purchased by those on the Edisi Biru prepaid plan as well as Celcom prepaid customers. Similarly priced at RM7 for a week of validity, this pass provides Celcom users with unlimited 5G-only data from the hours of 9 PM to 3 AM.
We could not find information on any Fair Usage Policy (FUP) limit for the Moreh Pass’ unlimited data offer, but we have contacted CelcomDigi for clarity. Both the Sahur Pass and Moreh Pass will be available starting 12 March 2024 until 13 May 2024.
