Last month, Xiaomi unveiled the Pad 6S Pro 12.4, its latest high-end tablet with a bigger display and an all-metal build. While the device has not been announced for the Malaysian market yet, we found that it has already received SIRIM certification.
The Pad 6S Pro 12.4 was listed on the database on 12 February 2024 with the model number 24018RPACG. An update to the Pad 6 Pro, we can expect to see the premium tablet here eventually given the recent listing.
As for its specs, the Pad 6S Pro 12.4 sports a 12.4-inch 3K LCD display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 900 nits, along with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. Internally, it runs on last year’s flagship Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
On the photography side, it has a dual-sensor setup on the back made up of a 50MP main shooter as well as a depth sensor while the front features a 32MP camera. The tablet is powered by a 10,000mAh battery with support for 120W charging, which can apparently charge it from empty to 100% in 35 minutes. While we do not know what the local pricing will be yet, for reference, it has a starting price of CNY3,299 (~RM2,168) in its home market.
