Nothing also unveiled two audio products under its CMF sub-brand during the launch of the Phone (2a). The first being the CMF Buds, which is an affordable version of its TWS earbuds from before, and the all-new CMF Neckband Pro.
Despite being marketed as the budget-friendly alternative, the newly launched CMF Buds still supports Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) at 42dB and features transparency mode. Also onboard are 12.4mm drivers with a bio-fibre and custom TPU diaphragm tuned by Dirac, as well as four built-in microphones. It also supports Bluetooth 5.3 with Fast Pair, multi-point connectivity, and has a Low Lag gaming mode option.
Battery-wise, Nothing says the CMF Buds offer a combined usage time of 35.5 hours when used together with its charging case. It also supports fast charging, granting around 6.5 hours of listening time after 10 minutes of top-up. Additionally, each bud is rated IP54 in terms of dust and water resistance.
Meanwhile, the CMF Neckband Pro features 13.6mm audio dynamic drivers with Ultra Bass technology 2.0, spatial audio support, ANC at 50dB, Bluetooth 5.3 with Fast Pair, five built-in microphones, and IP55 water/dust resistance. It also has a customisable Smart Dial that can control the volume, playback, and ANC.
This particular model offers up to 37 hours of listening time with ANC off, or up to 23 hours with the feature deactivated. Nothing claims that a 10-minute charge is enough to provide around 18 hours of playback.
The CMF Buds are priced at IDR2,500 (~RM142), while the CMF Neckband Pro comes in at IDR2,000 (~RM133). Both devices are slated to launch in multiple regions around the world, including Malaysia later this month. In regards to the latter, Nothing has yet to confirm the exact date of availability and pricing for the two products.
