Last week, Tecno announced the Pova 6 Pro, its latest mid-range smartphone. The company announced that it would eventually arrive in Asia but did not reveal if or when it would be coming to Malaysia. Now, we know that the phone will eventually make its way here as it has already been listed on the SIRIM database.
Certified with the model number LI9 on 29 February 2024, the Pro model joins the vanilla Pova 6 on the database, hinting that we will see both phones hitting our shores. That being said, the non-Pro variant has not even been announced yet, so it is unclear whether they will be launching in Malaysia at the same time or separately.
The Pova 6 Pro gets a 6.78-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and on the back, it features a dynamic LED lighting feature with a total of 210 LEDs. Inside, it runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 processor with up to 12GB of RAM.
For photography, the Pova 6 Pro sports a 108MP main camera alongside two secondary lenses and a 32MP selfie snapper. The futuristic-looking phone is powered by a 6,000mAh battery with support for 70W charging as well as 10W reverse charging for your other devices.
