OPPO has officially launched the Watch X, its latest smartwatch that looks a lot like the OnePlus Watch 2. This is because the two devices are the same product but with different branding, which you can tell as they share the same specs.
The Watch X offers a circular 1.43-inch 466×466 AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. For protection, the watch is encased in stainless steel and is covered by sapphire crystal; it is also able to operate in rough temperatures with a MIL-STD-810H certification and for water and dust protection, it comes with 5ATM and IP68 ratings. Inside, the premium smartwatch runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset while on the software side, it ships with Google WearOS 4.
As for fitness, it has built-in GPS to track your routes and has over 100 sports modes to keep track of your workouts, including swimming, badminton, and tennis. Of course, the watch is even decked out with health features that can monitor your blood oxygen levels, heart rate, stress, sleep, and more.
Impressively, the company claims that the Watch X is able to last up to 100 hours on the default smart mode and up to 12 days in power saver mode. It apparently takes an hour to fully charge but even 10 minutes charging will give you 24 hours of use.
The OPPO Watch X retails for RM1,399 in brown and black colour options. However, those who purchase the smartwatch from 29 February until 21 April 2024 are eligible for a RM100 rebate as well as the option to purchase additional watch straps for only RM1 each.
