Anker has announced for the Malaysian market three open ear wireless headphones via its Soundcore sub-brand. They are the Soundcore AeroFit, Aerofit Pro, and V30i. You may be familiar with the first two on the list, as they have been around in other markets for awhile now.
To go over what the range offers, the base Soundcore AeroFit features 14mm titanium polymer dynamic drivers for its sound delivery. On battery life, the company rates them at 11 hours, or up to 42 with the case. Wireless connection is handled via Bluetooth 5.3, with support for multipoint connection as well. The entire package also comes with an IPX7 rating as well.
Moving on to the Pro model, driver size has been bumped up to 16.2mm, with battery life also similarly improved. The company says that Soundcore AeroFit Pro can last up to 14 hours of continuous playback, and up to 46 hours with the case. Connectivity here is also Bluetooth 5.3, with multioint connectivity as well, but LDAC codec support has also been added to the mix. A detachable neckband has also been added to the package, presumably for users with a more active lifestyle, but the IP rating has oddly been bumped down to IPX4.
Finally, we get to the one that’s not technically part of the AeroFit series, the Soundcore V30i. The most modest of the lot, it still features 14.2mm drivers, with battery life of up to 12 or 36 hours depending on if you include the case in the equation. It still comes with an IPX5 rating despite its price point.
Speaking of price point, the Soundcore AeroFit is priced at RM499, while the Pro model has an asking price of RM799. The Soundcore V30i, as mentioned, is more modest in comparison, costing RM299. All three will be available starting 27 March, but pre-orders open on 3 March. You’ll be able to get them via the official Anker store on Lazada, Shopee and TikTok Shop.
