realme is set to launch the 12 Plus and 12 Pro Plus in Malaysia soon, but ahead of this, the company has listed yet another device from the lineup. The yet-unannounced realme 12 has been spotted on the SIRIM database, hinting at the phone’s imminent arrival in the local market.
The realme 12 was listed on SIRIM on 22 February 2024 with the model number RMX3999. While the brand has already confirmed the 12 Plus as well as some of its key specs, nothing has been officially revealed regarding the vanilla variant.
Despite its details still being kept under wraps, the realme 12 is rumoured to sport a 6.72-inch LCD display with a 1080p resolution as well as a 120Hz refresh rate, with a fingerprint sensor on the side of the device. Moreover, it could run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus chipset and be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging.
The phone is speculated to feature two cameras on the back along with a similar design to the 12 Plus and the Android 14-based realme UI 5.0. While we don’t know when the realme 12 will come out, the Plus variants of the series are set to arrive on 29 February.
