Samsung is expected to launch two smartphones sometime in March, namely the Galaxy A55 and the Galaxy A35. While these devices have yet to be officially announced by the company, they have already been the subject of multiple leaks and will evidently make their way to Malaysia soon.
Both the Galaxy A55 and A35 were recently listed on the SIRIM database just last week with the model numbers SM-A556E/DS and SM-A356E/DS respectively. This means we can expect the phones to be available here not long after their debut.
A purported leak from Winfuture.de claims that the Galaxy A55 will sport a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Internally, it will supposedly run on an Exynos 1480 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage along with a microSD card slot for expansion.
The mid-ranger will reportedly be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W charging. For photography, it will feature a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 32MP selfie shooter.
As for the Galaxy A35, listings show that phone will run on an Exynos 1380 processor with 8GB of RAM. Moreover, it is expected to have a 6.5-inch 1080p 120Hz AMOLED display with a 5,000mAh battery and 25W charging. On the imaging side, it is rumoured to contain a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide, and 5MP macro lens, and a 13MP front snapper.
