Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Fit3, its latest fitness tracker that is the successor to the Fit2 from 2020. In the months before the launch, there have already been several leaks and the smart band even made an appearance on SIRIM back in January, but now the device has finally been announced alongside local pricing and availability.
The Galaxy Fit3 uses an aluminium body and is fitted with a rectangular 1.6-inch AMOLED display that has rounded edges, which is 45% wider than its predecessor. It is controlled by a single button on the side and can be customised with over 100 watch faces. As for protection, it has IP68 dust and water protection and is rated to withstand 5ATM under the water.
While it lacks a built-in GPS, users can still use the fitness tracker to record over 100 types of workouts. Regarding your health, the Galaxy Fit3 has sensors to monitor your heart rate, blood oxygen saturation levels, and sleep in order to keep track of your overall health. The brand also claims that the smart band can last up to 13 days on a single charge.
The Galaxy Fit3 is available now and retails for RM299, coming in three colour options. From today until 30 April 2024, the company is offering a special launch promotion where you can get it at a 30% discount with the purchase of selected Galaxy smartphones at its online store and retail stores.
