OnePlus has recently released a teaser of its second smartwatch, providing eager fans with a vague look at its design. The wearable, dubbed tentatively as the OnePlus Watch 2, is expected to make its debut sometime next week.
The watch’s silhouette shown in the teaser matches the leaked renders that were provided by Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka OnLeaks) back in late January. While it retains a rounded display like its predecessor, its surrounding frame appears flatter and has a protrusion on the right-hand side, where two buttons are also visible.
Specs-wise, OnLeaks claims that the OnePlus Watch 2 will sport a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen, while found under its hood is a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset. It is also expected to run on Google’s Wear OS 4. Unfortunately, other details such as its battery capacity, features and so on are still unknown at this time.
As mentioned earlier, rumours are suggesting that OnePlus will unveil the Watch 2 next week, more specifically during MWC 2024 in Barcelona. According to reliable tipster Max Jambor, the smartwatch is expected to go official on 26 February 2024.
