Tecno is set to launch a new lineup of smartphones soon and one of them is the Pova 6. While the phone has not yet been announced, it has already made an appearance on the SIRIM database, with the certification hinting that it will be coming to Malaysia in the near future.
The Pova 6 received certification on 16 February 2024 and was listed with the model number LI7. Other devices expected to be launched in the lineup include the Pova 6 Pro and Neo, carrying the model numbers L19 and L16 respectively — neither devices have appeared on SIRIM yet, but we will keep an eye out for them.
Both vanilla and Pro variants have also appeared on European databases that have revealed some keys specs. The devices will be powered by a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for 70W fast charging. Aside from that, other details of the Pova 6 are still being kept under wraps.
On the other hand, a Google Play Console listing shows that the Pro will feature a 1080p display, 12GB of RAM, a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset, and Android 14 software. For reference, the Pova 5 series was released last year with a starting price of RM699, so we can expect a similar price range for the successor lineup.
