Earlier this month, vivo unveiled the V30 smartphone while the V30 Pro is confirmed to be launching at the end of the month. The base model has already been spotted receiving SIRIM certification back in January but now, we have discovered that even the Pro variant has made its way onto the local database.
The V30 Pro was listed on SIRIM with the model number V2319 on 14 February 2024, confirming that both devices will eventually be making their way to the Malaysian market. That being said, the brand has not announced anything regarding local availability yet.
According to its website, the V30 Pro is set debut in Thailand on 28 February 2024 and some key specs of the phone have been confirmed by the company. For one thing, it will feature a triple 50MP camera setup with a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens.
The mid-ranger’s shooter will be equipped with Zeiss lenses while the 50MP selfie camera will support autofocus. It will also be powered by a 5,000mAh battery but the charging speed has not been revealed. Additionally, it will sport a 120Hz display which is rumoured to be a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel and according to speculations, the V30 Pro will run on a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset.
