realme has announced that the realme 12 Plus will soon be coming to Malaysia. The phone is part of the non-Pro 12 lineup, which has yet to be launched by the brand, and will complement the 12 Pro series. This is not much of a surprise given that both the realme 12 Plus and 12 Pro Plus have been spotted on the SIRIM database.
While we do not know much about the vanilla series, the brand has revealed that the 12 Plus will be equipped with a 50MP 1/1.95” Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS. A recent Geekbench listing also revealed that the phone will likely run on a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset with 12GB of RAM.
Other rumoured specs include a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate along with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W charging. As for the other cameras, it is speculated that it will feature an 8MP ultra-wide and another 2MP sensor next to the primary unit, as well as a 16MP front shooter.
The brand has not revealed the launch date for the realme 12 Plus and 12 Pro Plus in Malaysia yet, but given the official announcement, the wait should not be too long. It is unclear whether or not our market will receive the realme 12 and 12 Pro.
