Several European retailers seem to have started listing the Xiaomi Watch 2 on its sites despite the fact that the smartwatch has not been officially announced yet. With this, we now know the design and pricing of the wearable, which is a cheaper version of the Watch 2 Pro.
The Xiaomi Watch 2 sports a 1.43-inch 466×466 circular AMOLED display, with the 46mm casing being made out of aluminium instead the stainless steel material we saw in the Watch 2 Pro. While the material might be different, the internals seem to be similar as it runs on the same Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset and runs on Wear OS.

On the health and fitness side, it contains sensors for tracking your heart rate, blood oxygen saturation levels, and more. There is also built-in GPS for navigation and route tracking and when it comes to swimming, you get 5 ATM water resistance. Moreover, the watch offers up to 65 hours of battery life with support for Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi, and NFC — notably, it lacks 4G support unlike the Pro.

A Belgium retailer lists the Xiaomi Watch 2 for EUR200 (~RM1,025), so we can expect the pricing to be similar if it ever comes here. As of now, the company has not announced a launched date.
