We have not gotten an iPhone SE refresh since 2022, but a new leak suggests that the next iteration will be getting a much more updated design. According to leakster Majin Bu, the fourth-generation iPhone SE will be taking on a similar look to the upcoming iPhone 16, in more ways than one.
For one thing, the report claims that the SE will feature the Dynamic Island notch feature, which was first introduced in the iPhone 14 Pro series. Secondly, it might look more like a modern iPhone with uniform bezels and flat sides, closer to the iPhone XR unlike the previous variants, which were modelled to look like much older iPhones.

The purported render even shows that it might get a vertical pill-shaped camera island just like the recently-leaked renders of the iPhone 16, albeit with only a single camera. Of course, the Dynamic Island and the lack of Touch ID means that we might finally get Face ID on an iPhone SE.
We are still a while away from seeing the phone actually being announced by Apple, so take this leak with a grain of salt. Previous rumours suggest that the next SE might only be launched in 2025, after the release of this year’s iPhone 16 lineup.
