Last month, ASUS announced the local availability of a bunch of laptops that were first shown off during CES 2024. But notably missing from the list was the ROG Zephyrus G14. Until now, that is, as the company has just announced its availability in the country today, and its accompanying price tag.
As per its initial announcement, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 only comes with an AMD processor. Specifically, it is the AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS CPU with Ruzen AI. Storage comes in 1TB of M.2 PCIe 4 SSD right off the bat, with the battery being rated at 73Wh. On, and the screen is a 14-inch 3K OLED 16:10 display.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 comes in two main variants. One has an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 GPU and 16GB of RAM, which is priced at RM7,999. The other has Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU with 32GB of RAM, and a price tag og RM8,999. Both are available starting today.
Announced alongside the ROG Zephyrus G14 is the ASUS TUF Gaming A15 which also didn’t make an appearance last month. Similarly, this also only has the AMD Ryzen 9 8945H as its CPU option, but RAM and storage are both locked at 16GB and 1TB, respectively.
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 option of the laptop gets a Full HD 144Hz screen, with a price of RM6,499. Meanwhile, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 model has a choice between getting the aforementioned Full HD 144Hz screen or a QHD 165Hz display instead. These are priced at RM6,799 and RM6,999 respectively. They won’t be available immediately, but the wait for them won’t be too long, as ASUS has provided an availability window of mid-February.
