It was previously rumoured that the Pro variant may not release outside of China, and there’s a chance that an unannounced Ultra model may debut alongside the vanilla model instead.

As for imaging, the phone packs a triple Leica-enhanced camera setup consisting of a 50MP 1/1.31-inch primary sensor with OIS, variable aperture and Leica Summilux lens, as well as a 40MP floating telephoto with OIS and up to 3.2x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide with 5cm macro capabilities. In front, housed within the punch-hole cutout on the display is a 32MP selfie camera.
Meanwhile, the vanilla Xiaomi 14 features a smaller 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1200 x 2680 px resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 3,000 nits peak brightness. Like its sibling, it too comes with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support, an under-display fingerprint scanner, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, as well as IP68 water/dust resistance.
Under its hood is the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, along with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. It also features dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC connectivity, as well as a smaller 4,610mAh battery with 90W wired, 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging support.
For photography, on the back of the Xiaomi 14 is a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP wide-angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.2X optical zoom and OIS. Much like the Pro, this variant also features a 32MP selfie camera in front.
Unfortunately, not much is known about the Xiaomi 14 Ultra model just yet. Based on the teaser image shown, it is believed that it will sport a large circular lens over its rear camera setup, much like its predecessor. Apart from that, it is believed that it will also feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
Naturally, pricing and availability for the Xiaomi 14 series will only be revealed during the launch. The company has yet to confirm whether the line-up will debut in Malaysia around the same time, or much later.
