Last November, HONOR unveiled the Earbuds X6, its newest pair of affordable wireless earphones, in China. While the company has yet to announce local availability for the product, they are likely to make their way here soon as the earbuds have been spotted on the SIRIM database.
The Earbuds X6 received local certification just last week on 30 January 2024 with the model number PET-T10. For context, the earphones retail for CNY299 (~RM197) in China while its predecessor, the Earbuds X5, came with a RM279 price tag, so we can expect the Malaysian pricing to be within this price range.
As for the specs, the Earbuds X6 feature 10mm dynamic drivers with support for Hi-Fi 5 DSP high-definition decoding. They come with Bluetooth 5,3, AI call noise reduction, a low-latency mode for gaming, and are rated at IP54 for dust and water resistance.
For battery life, the brand claims that the earbuds can last up to nine hours on a single charge and up to 40 hours when combined with the charging case. The X6 can apparently even offer three hours of listening time with just 10 minutes of charging. Additionally, there is a Bluetooth search feature that will let you turn on noise if you lose one of the earbuds within range.
