Last week, we saw vivo teasing the V30 series on its Philippines website and now, the brand has quietly unveiled the vanilla model for the global market. It shares a very similar design with the S18 released in China, but gets a significant upgrade in the photography department.
The V30 sports a 6.78-inch 1260p AMOLED display with an impressive peak brightness of 2,800 nits as well as a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 512GB of storage and 12GB of RAM, although we still don’t know which configurations will arrive here.
For imaging, the back of the V30 features a 50MP OmniVision OV50E main sensor alongside a 50MP ultra-wide with autofocus, while the screen houses another 50MP unit with autofocus for selfies. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging, but it does not offer support for wireless charging.
The V30 will be available soon in more than 30 markets including Malaysia, although the pricing and availability will be announced later on for each country. So far, only the standard V30 model has been listed on the SIRIM database, although it is rumoured that company will also eventually unveil a Pro variant.
