Rumours regarding the Sony Xperia 1 VI have started to appear, and quite early at that considering when these phones got launched in past years. Specifically, the camera specs, arguably the most important part of the Sony flagships, have appeared online.
These details come courtesy of a user on X, previously Twitter, with the handle @INSIDERSONY, in the form of an image showing the three cameras on the alleged Sony Xperia 1 VI. While the specifics differ, all three of them are claimed to be 48MP Exmor T for mobile sensors. If true, this will be quite the bump up compared to the current model, which sports two 12MP shooters to accompany the main 48MP camera.

All three of these cameras will retain the usual main + wide-angle + telephoto template found on most triple camera setups these days. That last one on the list is noted to sport another typical 3x optical zoom. So sheer pixel count aside, the cameras on the Sony Xperia 1 VI may still be pretty familiar.
The same user also claimed that the phone will be making an appearance on 26 February, in conjunction with MWC 2024. No other details of the Sony Xperia 1 VI is available right now, but next month may just be when the floodgates will be opened.
