Acer has announced that its new “AI-ready” laptop, the Swift Go 14, is now available in Malaysia. First announced last month, the device comes in two variants and is equipped with the latest 14th Gen Meteor Lake mobile CPUs from Intel.
While the US variant sports a 1440p 90Hz OLED panel, the display for the Malaysian version gets a significant downgrade. The local version is equipped with a 14-inch 1920×1200 LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate and a tall 16:10 aspect ratio. Moreover, it offers a 180-degree hinge, a 1440p webcam with a privacy shutter, and AI-enhanced software features for video calling.
Under the chassis, the laptop can be configured with either an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H or Ultra 5 125H processor with Intel Arch graphics, 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage. For connectivity, it boasts two USB-A ports, two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI port, a microSD card slot, and support for Wi-Fi 6E. The company claims that the Swift Go 14 can provide up to 12.5 hours of battery life with its 65Wh cell, which supports 100W charging.
The Swift Go 14 is available through the brand’s website as well as authorised retailers. It starts from RM3,599 for the Ultra 5 version which comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. On the other hand, the Ultra 7 variant costs RM4,299 and is fitted with 1TB of storage capacity.
