The new Huawei Matebook D 16 is officially available in Malaysia. The brand’s laptop range has been refreshed to run with both 12th Gen and 13th Gen Intel Core Series processors, with prices starting from RM2,899.
To get some details out of the way, the Matebook D 16 is features a 16-inch FHD+ display, with a 300 nits peak brightness and 60Hz refresh rate. Additional specs include up to 16GB RAM and a 70WHr battery. As for the processor inside, you have a choice between a 12th Gen Core i5-12450H with 8GB RAM for RM2,899 or 16GB for RM3,199. Both configurations come with an NVMe 4.0 storage capacity of 512GB.
Moving up the ladder, customers can also opt for a Matebook D 16 with a 13th Gen Core i5-13420H processor, with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage for RM3,699 that, like its 12th Gen iterations and as mentioned at the beginning of this article, are already available for purchase. However, for those looking for the top-specced variant of this laptop that comes fitted with a Core i9-13900H, you can preorder the laptop via Huawei’s official stores, both offline and online, from today until 2 February this year. That model, by the way, will set you back RM5,299.
