The ASUS Zenbook Duo refresh was revealed earlier this month as part of the brand’s CES 2024 showcase. At the time, the company had already said that it will be launching the laptop locally today. As promised, the company did just that, with the price and availability of the device also detailed as part of the process.
Going over its spec sheet quickly, the ASUS Zenbook Duo comes with, as the name suggests, two 14-inch 3K 16:10 touch screens with a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and a 100%DCI-P3 colour gamut. On the inside is a choice between an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H or an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H. Regardless of your processor choice, the laptop will have 32GB of RAM and 1TB of PCIe 4 SSD storage. Its battery is rated at 75Wh.
As for its price, the ASUS Zenbook Duo starts from RM9,999 for the model with the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, with a release date of 16 February. If your choice is the one with the Intel Core Ultra 9 instead, the price is bumped up to RM10,999, though this one does not yet have an availability date.
Announced for the local market alongside the Zenbook Duo is the ASUS Vivobook 16 which, while it has two colour variants, only comes in a single configuration. With this, we’re looking at a laptop with a 16-inch 1,920 x 1,200 16:10 screen, an Intel Core 5 120U, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of M.2 PCIe 3 SSD storage, and a 42Wh battery.
As there’s only one configuration for the ASUS Vivobook 16, it will also have only one price tag of RM3,099. It will also be available sooner, from 29 January. You can find out more about both laptops by visiting their respective product pages, linked here.
