The Samsung Galaxy A15 and A25 made an early appearance on the brand’s official website earlier last month, revealing just about everything there is to know about them save their price. Since then, the company has announced their availability, as well as the price of each model.
In case you missed it, the Samsung Galaxy A15 comes in LTE and 5G variants. They share a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ display, though the latter’s screen is also listed with a 90Hz refresh rate. Beyond these differences, they basically share a spec sheet, with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage space, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W charging.
Similarly, they also have the 50MP main + 5MP wide-angle + 2MP macro camera setup in common, as well as a 13MP secondary shooter in a water drop notch. Other items to round out the two similar packages include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC. Both are also listed with an unspecified octa-core chipset with 2.2GHz and 2GHz cores.
Moving on to the Samsung Galaxy A25, this only sports marginal bumps up compared to the A15. To note, the screen is still a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ screen, but the refresh rate has been bumped up to 120Hz. It too has an unspecified octa-core chipset, but its clock speeds are now rated at 2.4GHz and 2GHz. And finally, the wide-angle shooter on the triple camera combo is now an 8MP unit. Beyond these differences, the rest of the items on the spec sheet.
And with that, we come to their prices. The Samsung Galaxy A15 are priced at RM999 and RM1,199 for the LTE and 5G models respectively. As for the Galaxy A25, this one is priced at RM1,299 instead.
