OPPO has finally launched the Pad Neo, its latest mid-range tablet. The device’s arrival was first speculated when it was spotted on the SIRIM database back in October and now it is available in the Malaysian market in two variants.
The Pad Neo sports an 11.4-inch 2408×1720 LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and brightness rating of 400 nits. For content consumption, the tablet is fitted with four speakers that have support for Dolby Atmos. Under the large chassis is a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset with 128GB of internal storage, up to 8GB of RAM, and a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
On the imaging side, the tablet features horizontally-positioned cameras on both the front and back with 8MP sensors. Powering the affordable device is an 8,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging. Connectivity-wise, it supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5, and 4G on the LTE version.
The Pad Neo has a starting price tag of RM1,199 for the Wi-Fi model with a 6GB+128GB configuration while the LTE variant costs RM1,399 with the same amount of storage and 8GB of RAM. While stocks last, purchases of the tablet will also come with a free smart case worth RM99, available on its online store, e-commerce partners, and physical stores.
